Nori Hudson, Nutrition Consultant
Nori holds dual degrees as a Certified Nutrition Consultant and Educator from Bauman College in Penngrove, CA. She is registered and board certified in Holistic Nutrition by NANP and is currently on the teaching staff of Bauman College, JFK University, Hawthorn University, and the Albany Adult School. She has a private practice, Radiant Vitality, in Berkeley, supporting a wide range of health issues including brain health, CVD, developmental differences, weight management, food intolerance, eating disorders, and dysglycemia. She is a mother to a 14 year old son who is a strong advocate of whole foods, and she particularly enjoys working with youth and families. Chris Balme, Executive Director of Spark Chris has taught with the Breakthrough Collaborative and worked as a National Science Foundation Fellow, developing and teaching new science curricula in the Philadelphia public schools. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania and the Wharton School of Business, Chris co-founded Spark, a non-profit that operates summer and after-school programs that match students with apprenticeships in professions of their choice at local workplaces. He was honored in July 2008 with the Bay Area's Jefferson Award for Public Service, in honor of Spark's accomplishments for Bay Area youth. Chris believes that hands-on, self-motivated learning and community building are keys to educational change. Kai McFarland, Alternative Investment Analyst Kai graduated highest honors from Lehigh University with a major in Finance and minors in International Relations and Engineering. Currently, Kai is an Analyst for a family investment office in the Bay Area that focuses on alternative investments, primarily hedge funds. In working with a global portfolio, Kai has the opportunity to meet with the brightest investment professionals throughout the world and review diverse investment opportunities. Alan Ryman, Technology Alan Ryman has developed a variety of software products and systems over the last 20 years; ranging from process control systems to large volume web applications. He has held positions as software engineer, systems architect, product manager and development manager for NCR, Dell, Dresser Industries and Travelocity. Recently his focus has been on content management, business process, agile development methods, service oriented architectures, leadership and staff development. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from University of Dayton. Matt Boucher, Chef Matt has been in the food industry for many years. He has worked in a variety of settings including restaurants, catering companies, and private families. He just recently left his position as the Executive Chef at Whole Foods Market in San Rafael and is currently working as a chef at the Good Earth Market in Fairfax. Matt's culinary talents center around the use of organic, local foods. He specializes in cooking for people with food allergies or other restrictions. In addition to his work as a chef, Matt is also a talented educator and has taught several cooking classes to pre-teens and teens.
